Seeing What Can’t Be Seen ~ Gina’s Story

Some things in life defy explanation. You can feel them, sense them, even be transformed by them—but trying to describe them is like explaining the color blue to someone who’s never had the gift of sight. That’s what it’s like trying to explain my time with Cara.
I came to Cara not because of one specific issue, but because I felt the weight of life collecting in my body and spirit. I had become the full-time caregiver for my aging father—a strong-willed man—and had moved into the family home, a space thick with history and emotion. The house felt heavy, like something unseen was lingering. Even my dog refused to go into certain rooms.
When Cara first entered the space, she immediately sensed what I had been feeling. She worked with the energy, gently shifting something I couldn’t name—but I could feel the difference. The house felt lighter. The air felt different. And perhaps the most telling sign? My dog started walking freely into the rooms he once avoided.
Most of our sessions happened remotely, over the phone. At first, I wasn’t sure how that would work—how something so personal and powerful could happen from a distance. But once the sessions began, I understood. I would lie down, close my eyes, and just listen. Cara would describe what she was seeing and sensing, as if painting a picture that I could somehow feel. One session, I felt this incredible warmth spread through my chest. And just as I was thinking about it, she said aloud, “Your heart is beating faster.” And it was.
I never gave her details—part of me was skeptical. I wanted to see what would come through naturally. And time after time, she would speak truths I hadn’t even admitted to myself. One day, after a particularly deep session, I realized the chronic pain I’d had in my mouth for months was gone. I hadn’t mentioned it. I hadn’t even thought about it in the session. But the trauma—wherever it had been hiding—had been released.
Each session left me lighter. More peaceful. It felt like layers were being lifted—layers I didn’t even know I was carrying. I noticed it in how I moved through the world. I used to carry so much anger without realizing it. Now, I’m softer. Happier. Cara's work is a sacred process that moves something deep inside you. For me, it’s been nothing short of life-changing.
If someone were to ask me what Cara does, I’d smile and say, “How do you explain the color blue to someone who’s never seen it?”
You don’t.
You invite them to experience it for themselves.
